RE100: Industry Leading Mitigation for 100Gbps & 40Gbps Networks

The new RE100 supports 100Gbps or 40Gbps interfaces. Each RE100 filters up to 80 million packets per second (also available with a limited 40M PPS license) and multiple RE100 can be used in parallel to achieve multi-Tbps mitigation capacity. The RE100 has no limit to the number of destination IP’s it can protect and our PPS ratings apply to any combination of simultaneous DDoS attack types.

Protecting 100Gbps networks from DDoS has been prohibitively costly, especially for networks where the 100G interface capacity was greater than the actual subscribed bandwidth on that link. The new RE100/40 license changes that equation by providing carrier grade DDoS protection of our RE100 in a reduced throughput license at a reduced cost. Zero learning period means any version of the the RE100 is ready to be deployed in an off-ramp scrubbing center in conjunction with any NPMD you prefer. RioRey devices do not require data integration from the NPMD to achieve the same high accuracy, high throughput volumetric DDoS scrubbing that our customers have come to expect. But the RE100 is not limited to off-ramp deployment. The cost effective nature of the RE100 means that in-line protection of networks with multiple 100G ingress points is now financially feasible.

The RE100 has the features and throughput to allow Tier 1 telecommunications and hosting providers to provide DDoS mitigation as a service on their networks, while also remaining affordable for smaller telcos, hosting, gaming and enterprise clients.
